TERMS AND CONDITIONS TOUR
RESERVATIONS
- Reservations will be accepted upon receipt of a deposit equal to 50% of the total amount of the trip (per person). This must be done by bank transfer or electronic transfer. All bank charges are the responsibility of the participant.
- Payment of a reservation deposit implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- The balance of the tour is payable by bank transfer prior to arrival (funds must arrive in our bank account 1 week prior to the start of the tour) or cash on arrival. Participants who do not pay the tour balance by the day of departure cannot participate in the trip and will lose their deposit.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
- Cancellation of the tour by a participant less than 14 days before the start of the tour, no refund.
- Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant.
- Motogiro.com requires a minimum of 40 participants for Motogiro CastelliGrandeGuerra, if the minimum number of participants has not been assigned 30 days before the Tour start date, the Tour will be cancelled.
- A single room supplement will be charged to the last participant booking the Tour when double occupancy is not possible.
DISCOUNTS
- Under 23 participants and passengers will receive a 5% discount.
INSURANCE
- No Motorcycle Insurance will be provided by Motogiro.com.
- It is mandatory that participants cover themselves and their bikes with personal insurance, such as Travel Protection from ETI TCS.
- It is mandatory that participants have adequate insurance to cover personal accidents, repatriation, medical expenses, loss of luggage, etc.
- Medical insurance for participants, including hospitalization and emergency evacuation, and other insurances (e.g., personal, travel) are mandatory and are the responsibility of the participant. If the participant does not have medical insurance they will have to provide details of a person, who will take responsibility for all necessary procedures in case of an accident, including financial expenses.
- failure to conclude such insurance will be at the participant’s own risk.
RESPONSIBILITY
- All participants are required to sign this form, releasing Motogiro.com from any liability for loss, damage caused, illness, accident, injury or death, nor for any further expenses incurred as a result thereof. Motogiro.com, nor anyone acting through or on its behalf, shall be liable for any loss or damage to persons or property resulting from any cause whatsoever.
- The signing of the Declaration of Liability together with these terms and conditions constitutes the entire agreement and a binding contract between the participant and Motogiro.com. (We will not accept participants on a Tour without these documents being duly signed before a Tour begins.)
- Motogiro.com reserves the right to terminate the contract if the participant does not obey traffic laws, drives unsafely, under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and does not follow the guidelines set by the Tour Leader for your safety. No fee refund will be applied. We ask all participants to refrain from drinking alcohol until reaching the destination.
- It is the responsibility of the participants to ensure that they are always in possession (on) the necessary documents that may be required from time to time and/or in case of emergency: passport, visa(s), medical and other insurance, motorcycle driver’s license, etc. during the Tour.
REQUIREMENTS
- Motorcyclists must have a valid motorcycle driver’s license issued by their country of origin/residence.
- The motorcycle must be properly insured and license plate.
- Participants must be in good physical condition and riders’ experience must be appropriate to the skill level of the booked Tour.
- Bikes must be in excellent mechanical condition, tire and brake condition at least 80%. Motorcycles must be complete with license plates and all necessary documentation.
- Motogiro.com may conduct checks with the risk that the bike may be deemed ineligible to participate.
CHANGES
- Motogiro.com reserves the right to change the Itinerary and/or Tour arrangements without prior notice to participants, should such changes be appropriate and/or necessary for the safety, comfort and well-being of participants.
- Motogiro.com will not be held responsible for bad weather or force majeure, which could result in the Tour itinerary being changed. No refunds will be applied in such events.
- Changes to the itinerary requested during the Tour by the participant will not be accepted if not feasible.
SECURITY PROCEDURES
- It is mandatory for Tour participants to wear basic protective clothing while riding: helmet, boots, protective jacket and pants. We strongly recommend: gloves, back protector, rain suit, earplugs and sunglasses.
- For their own safety, before each departure day, riders will receive a brief guide on the route(s) to be traveled. The Tour Leader will always be available for help and/or advice.
- The Tour Leader will lead the Tour, participants must follow the guidelines set before departure, by doing so he will be able to warn you of incoming dangers. The rules of Motogiro.com always apply, especially point 5, THE BELGIAN SYSTEM.
- A first aid medical kit will be available to treat minor emergencies. This is not a substitute for the required medical insurance.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND TESTIMONY
- Motogiro.com may use any of your images taken during any of our Tours, free of charge in all media (both existing and invented in the future) for bona fide promotional or marketing purposes, including, but not limited to, promotional materials of any kind such as brochures, slides, video shows, or the Internet.
- Any written feedback or testimonials provided to Motogiro.com may also be used for promotional purposes as described above
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE TOUR
- if available, luggage and passenger support car including driver and tour film, fuel NOT included
- Expert multilingual tour leader (English, French and Italian)
- double room accommodation (note: single occupancy incurs a surcharge)
- Catering (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
- Entrance fees to castles, parks, monuments and other sites
- Local guides and local taxes for all driving days
- Photos and footage from the trip
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR
- Motorcycle fuel and car fuel support
- if necessary, camping expenses, camping equipment, camping preparation
- Drinks and snacks not mentioned under WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE TOUR.
- Personal items
- Passport and visa fees
- Laundry
- Phone calls
- Room service
- Travel insurance
- Personal and accident insurance and medical expenses
- Emergency evacuation/recovery
- Airline tickets
